What is the job?

The Payroll and AP Coordinator is responsible in supporting payroll reconciliation and accounts payable processes related to sponsored programs and grant-funded activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconciles payroll transactions across grants, departments, and funding sources
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies with Finance or HR
  • Maintains documentation for payroll and grant-related transactions
  • Processes invoices and verifies expense coding for accuracy
  • Coordinates with departments to gather supporting financial information
  • Supports reporting, internal reviews, and process improvements for payroll and grants

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of payroll reconciliation experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams (or comparable software).
