We're on the lookout for a Senior Network Engineer / Tech Leader to join one of our dynamic client teams. Our client is a leading provider of IT solutions and services headquartered in Switzerland. With a strong reputation for delivering robust, secure, and scalable IT solutions, the client is expanding its global team to meet growing business demands.

In this role, you'll lead the service delivery and optimization of complex network and security infrastructures, support seamless service delivery, and mentor junior engineers. Join a collaborative international team where your expertise and leadership will make a meaningful impact.

• Take ownership of the operation, optimization, and ongoing health of enterprise-grade network and security infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls).
• Lead the planning and execution of complex network changes, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to client environments.
• Respond to high-level escalationsdiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network issues with a calm and analytical approach.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise and helping grow the team's technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with international colleagues and stakeholders to align on project goals, share insights, and drive standardization and innovation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and documentation, ensuring smooth service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Triage and classification of cyber security incidents based on severity, including initiation of appropriate response measures.
• Close collaboration with our Blue Team as part of Tier 1 SOC operations for our MDR (Managed Detection & Response) customers.

• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience working with complex Cisco networks, including routing and switching, wireless, and/or network security (Cisco ASA, Firepower, or Palo Alto).
• CCIE certification (or equivalent level of expertise) is highly preferred and valued.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service delivery, preferably in environments using platforms like ServiceNow.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to take initiative, make decisions under pressure, and drive solutions to completion.
• Clear and confident communication skills in English, both spoken and writtenable to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• German language skills are a significant advantage (but not required), as many customers are based in Switzerland and Germany.
• A collaborative and proactive mindset, with experience working in remote or multicultural teams.
