Technology QA Tester (BI & Systems Validation) - Manila

This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our data-driven systems and operational tools.

The ideal candidate brings a methodical approach to quality assurance, can collaborate with both business and technical teams, and is capable of designing and executing end-to-end QA processes tailored for data-centric environments.

• Review and validate reports generated from IBM Cognos, ensuring data accuracy, formatting, and logic consistency with business requirements.
• Execute SQL script testing, validating outputs against source data and business rules.
• Develop detailed test scenarios, test plans, and test scripts for data pipelines, dashboards, and system customizations.
• Create and own a robust end-to-end testing process covering BI, data integrations, and platform-level functionality.
• Test Bullhorn customizations, enhancements, and workflow automations, ensuring seamless user experience and technical functionality.
• Perform data integrity checks across multiple systems (including relational databases and external APIs).
• Document defects clearly, report inconsistencies, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Track and maintain issues via JIRA or other project management tools.
• Participate in requirements reviews, UAT support, and business validation exercises.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of QA experience with a focus on data validation, SQL, and business application testing.
• Proven experience validating IBM Cognos reports and dashboards.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL—comfortable writing queries to validate data, perform joins, and test calculated fields.
• Experience testing third-party platforms like Bullhorn or other CRM/ATS solutions.
• Ability to design comprehensive test plans and scenarios based on business processes.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
• Understanding of ETL/data integration pipelines is a plus.
• Prior experience in a recruitment or healthcare tech environment is advantageous.
