Senior Accounting and Finance Analyst

The Opportunity

We are looking for a high‑calibre Accounting Analyst / Senior Accounting Officer to partner closely with our Accounting Head.

This role goes beyond traditional accounting - it plays a critical part in financial analysis, operational insight, process optimisation, and decision support.

You will act as a trusted finance partner to the business, ensuring data integrity while translating numbers into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decisions.

Key Responsiblities

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of financial and operational reports.
• Produce insightful analysis on financial performance, variances, and trends.
• Prepare executive‑ready summaries and recommendations for management.
• Support budget monitoring, forecasting, and performance tracking.

• Act as a focal point for business analysis across finance and operations.
• Work closely with the Accounting Head and department leaders to improve efficiency and controls.
• Provide data‑driven input to support commercial and strategic decisions.

• Support audit readiness and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, refine, and automate reporting and accounting processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve reporting templates and data structures.

• Support and review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting activities.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and documentation requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience across accounting, audit, finance, or business analysis.
• Strong grounding in general accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
• Proven experience interpreting financial data and translating it into insights.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (modelling, analysis, reporting).
• Experience with accounting systems (Xero experience is an advantage).
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills - able to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable working cross‑functionally and with senior stakeholders.
• Willing to work onsite in our Cebu City office.
