About the Role
We are a well‑established regional supplier of specialty materials for the plastics and PET packaging industry in Asia, supporting multinational and local manufacturers across Southeast Asia.
As our business in the Philippines continues to grow, we are looking to engage a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to support key customers, run technical trials, and develop long‑term customer relationships.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical professional with experience in PET preform injection molding, color or additive applications, who enjoys working close to customers and factories.Flexible engagement models (full‑time, part‑time, or retainer) are available depending on the candidate’s experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Customer Support- Serve as the main technical and commercial contact for assigned customers in the Philippines
- Conduct on‑site color and additive trials at customer factories, especially in PET preform injection molding environments
- Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical support during production or trial phases
- Work closely with customer teams (production, QA, R&D, procurement, and management)
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing customers
- Support pricing discussions and commercial coordination with headquarters
- Identify upselling and new application opportunities within existing accounts
- Assist in developing new customers and projects when opportunities arise
- Document trial results, technical findings, and customer feedback
- Share market intelligence and competitor insights with the regional team
- Submit simple activity and visit reports on a periodic basis
Qualifications & Experience
Required- Degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales, application engineering, or field support
- Practical experience with PET preform injection molding machines
- Comfortable working independently and visiting customer sites
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience with liquid color, masterbatch, or additive systems for PET
- Existing contacts in PET preform, plastics, or packaging manufacturers in the Philippines
- Experience running factory trials and supporting production teams
- Candidates with slightly less experience but strong technical skills may be considered at Technical Sales Engineer level with development support
- Flexible engagement: Full‑time, part‑time, or retainer arrangement
