Official Role Title: Senior Accounting Officer
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Senior Accounting Officer to join our Operations Team. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting and reconciliation experience who is confident handling end-to-end finance operations in a structured, fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and financial reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations.- About the Role:
As a Senior Accounting Officer, you will support the financial operations of the business, including invoicing, reconciliations, supplier management, and reporting.
You will work closely with internal teams, employers, and suppliers to ensure accurate financial processing, timely payments, and well-maintained accounting records across all transactions.- Who We Are

- What You’ll Be Doing
Accounts Receivable:
- Issue employer invoices on weekly, fortnightly, or monthly cycles
- Perform cash receipting and allocate payments accurately
- Monitor and investigate unidentified deposits
- Manage employer queries, disputes, and resolution via email and CRM
- Process employer refunds where required
Accounts Payable:
- Monitor supplier accounts and perform statement reconciliations
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs
- Communicate with suppliers regarding discrepancies and queries
- Manage disputes between employers and suppliers
- Monitor balances and process refund requests
Accounting & Reconciliation:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Upload and maintain sales and purchase journals in MYOB
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Process fuel card transactions and financier payment files
- Support month-end close activities and reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and accounting work instructions
Leadership & Support:
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members
- Provide cross-training to strengthen team capability and flexibility
- Support implementation of new accounting systems and process improvements
- Assist with credit card and multi-entity reconciliations
- Education: Basic accounting qualification or equivalent finance background
- Experience: Solid experience in accounting, reconciliations, or finance operations
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; MYOB experience is an advantage
- Capabilities: Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Mindset: Proactive, accountable, and confident working in a fast-paced environment
