Printing machine operator

Job Description

• Flexo Printing Machine Operator
• Receive Job order, printcard and instruction from printing supervisor.
• Disseminate job to printing crew.
• Initially check machine condition before setting.

 Checking of feeding unit.

 Checking of printing unit

 Checking of slotting unit.

 Checking of folding unit.

 Checking of counter ejector unit.

 Checking of gluing unit.

 Checking of roller conveyor.

 Tying machine check-up.

 Checking of stacking unit (for printer slotter and rotary die cut unit).

• Job setting and machine trial.
• Parameter checking such as printing registration, appearance, text completeness, box dimension (manufacturer`s joint, length. width, height, lower and upper flap) and box structure.
• To run the machine in specified speed in order to meet the set targets and standards.
• Guide printing crew in operation.
• Provide information to supervisor for the performance and evaluation of his subordinate.
• Complete and accomplish production, quality inspection, machine start –up, line clearance reports and checklist.
• To heads –up unnecessary problem to his immediate supervisor and provide support for the corrective and preventive measures.
• Ensures those waste and rejection rates are not beyond the allowable limit.
• Maintain the machine in good condition by performing weekly preventive maintenance and coordinate to engineering technician.
• Maintain cleanliness in the working area as per GMP standard.
• Comply with safety standard as directed by safety committee.
• Provide operational support to other converting machines in absence of other operators.
• Report directly to printing supervisor.
• To perform other task that may be assigned by the immediate superior

• with experience in Flexo Machine Operation
• preferably at least College Level or any Vocational Course
• Must have strong leadership and knows how to handle production people efficiently and effectively
• excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
