Summary of Position
An Account Manager is a professional responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients or customers. They serve as a key point of contact between the client and the company they work for, and their primary objective is to ensure client satisfaction, promote retention, and maximize revenue from existing accounts.Account Managers are crucial to maintaining and growing a company's existing client base. Their ability to build strong relationships, understand client needs, and drive customer satisfaction contributes significantly to the long-term success of the business.
Additionally, they often play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for expansion and revenue growth within their accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage and grow assigned client accounts.
- Seek and develop new leads and opportunities.
- Negotiate contract renewals and terms.
- Prepare proposals and handle customized client requirements.
- Address client inquiries and provide product/service support.
- Participate in accreditations, endorsements, and biddings.
- Degree in Business related courses such as Business Administration major in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, and other related degrees.
- Has extensive experience in dealing with schools, government, and non-government organizations, and other industry sectors.
- 3–5+ years of experience as an Account Manager.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
