Accounts Payable Supervisor (Iloilo)

The Accounts Payable Supervisor oversees the hotel’s accounts payable operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This role is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, supporting financial reporting, and leading the accounts payable team to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-organized financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments, and employee expense reimbursements
- Review and approve invoices, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and monitor reports on accounts payable, aging balances, and cash flow requirements
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations
- Assist with financial audits by providing required documentation and schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or finance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, restaurant, or resort) is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
