About the role
As an Automation Engineer (Selenium) at YONDU INC.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. In this full-time position based in Taguig City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites using the Selenium framework, a leading tool for web application testing.
What you'll be doing- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise test scenarios that require automation
- Continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the test automation framework
- Analyse test results, identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Participate in the implementation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines to enable seamless software delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation using Selenium
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C#) and experience in writing robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation scripts
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build management tools (e.g., Jenkins), and container technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
