BUILDING ENGINEER

Job Summary:

The Building Engineer ensures that all systems are running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with government regulations and condominium standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspection, operation, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems.
• Ensure the proper functioning of generators, elevators, pumps, air conditioning units, and other equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs, installations, and testing of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and respond to emergency maintenance and engineering concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance logs, equipment records, and reports.
• Ensure all building systems are compliant with safety standards and government regulations (e.g., BFP, DOLE, LGU permits).
• Assist in the preparation and execution of building improvement projects.
• Recommend technical improvements and cost-efficient solutions for building operations.
• Support the Property and Operations Managers in planning and executing annual maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (PRC Registered).
• At least 2-3 years of experience in building engineering or facilities management, preferably in condominium settings.
• Strong knowledge of MEPF systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment monitoring.
• Knowledgeable in government compliances such as BFP inspections, DOLE safety requirements, and LGU permits.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
