Data Processing: Collect, review, and enter timesheet data for hourly and salaried employees into payroll systems.
Payroll Calculation: Calculate earnings, overtime, bonuses, deductions (taxes, insurance, retirement), and net pay accurately.
Payment Distribution: Issue paychecks, process direct deposits, and manage final pay for terminated employees.
Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
Query Resolution: Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax documentation.

Reporting: Prepare internal and external payroll reports for management, finance, or audit purposes.

Qualifications/Requirements

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding of payroll computations

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to resolve sensitive payroll queries

Typical Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is often required, along with relevant experience.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is preferred
