A growing life insurance company based in Makati is looking for a Partnerships Manager to help build and expand its group insurance distribution channels through strategic partnerships, affinity arrangements, digital platforms, online lending partners, financial institutions, aggregators, and other alternative distribution channels.
This is a manager-level individual contributor role ideal for someone with strong business development experience in the life insurance industry, particularly in group insurance, partnerships, bancassurance, affinity, digital lending, embedded insurance, or alternative distribution.
Key Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that can distribute or embed group insurance products to customers, members, borrowers, employees, or platform users.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop partnerships with online lending companies, affinity groups, digital platforms, financial institutions, aggregators, and similar channels.
- Present group insurance solutions that address partner and customer needs.
- Manage the end-to-end partnership development process, from prospecting and proposal preparation to negotiation, onboarding, and account management.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Pricing, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure smooth implementation.
- Help design practical go-to-market plans for partner-led insurance distribution.
- Monitor partnership performance, conversion, revenue contribution, and business opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with partners and support continuous business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, or any related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in life insurance, group insurance, bancassurance, partnerships, affinity distribution, digital lending, or financial services.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience handling group life, credit life, voluntary insurance, employee benefits, or embedded insurance solutions.
- Proven ability to develop new business partnerships and manage external partner relationships.
- Good understanding of insurance distribution, partner management, proposal development, and sales execution.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial environment.
