Category Management Associate (Fresh Graduate)

1. Job Summary

The Category Management Associate supports the optimization of product performance across assigned categories by analyzing sales, customer, and market data. This role provides insights and recommendations on product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising to drive category growth and profitability.

1. Key Responsibilities
2. 1 Category Strategy & Market Analysis

• Support the development and execution of category strategies and marketing plans
• Assist in conducting market assessments, including competitor, vendor, and customer analysis
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve product mix, pricing, promotions, and merchandising
• Support product knowledge sharing and training activities when needed

1. 2 Inventory & Order Management

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and freshness
• Collect, process, and track customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve order fulfillment issues
• Support demand planning and replenishment activities

1. 3 Operations Support

• Assist in monitoring category performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Ensure proper execution of merchandising standards in-store
• Perform other related tasks as required to support business objectives

1. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business Management, Agricultural Economics, Agriculture, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; fresh graduate are open to apply
• Background or exposure to sales, merchandising, or category management, preferably in retail or fresh/meat categories
• Strong understanding of inventory management, pricing, and basic financial analysis
• Knowledge of consumer behavior, buying patterns, and retail operations
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Results-driven with a high sense of accountability
• Organized with good problem-solving abilities
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with urgency
