Senior IT Security Consultant (Technical & Compliance Exposure)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Security and Compliance Consultant with a strong hands-on technical security background. This role focuses on delivering practical security solutions across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud environments for clients based in Australia and the Philippines.

Experience with compliance frameworks is an advantage, but not mandatory—training will be provided for the right candidate. This role is ideal for someone who is technically confident, client-facing, and comfortable owning projects end to end.

• Deliver hands-on IT security projects for Australian- and Philippines-based clients
• Assess, design, and improve security controls across:
• IT infrastructure
• Endpoint security and endpoint management
• Cloud services and cloud security
• Lead and manage projects from planning through execution, documentation, and reporting
• Conduct client meetings independently, including discovery sessions, solution discussions, and project updates
• Support pre-sales consulting activities, including scoping, solution design, and client presentations
• Contribute to security compliance engagements (training provided where required)

• 8+ years of IT experience with a strong technical foundation
• Proven experience delivering IT security outcomes across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud environments
• Solid understanding of core security concepts and best practices, including:
• Identity and access management
• System hardening
• Security monitoring
• Incident response fundamentals
• Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Confident communicator who can lead client conversations independently
• Highly organised, professional, and client-focused approach

• Exposure to security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or comparable credentials
• Experience working in an MSP or MSSP environment
