An ESL teacher is responsible for helping non-native English speakers develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. They create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a supportive learning environment tailored to students’ language levels and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (in English, Education, or a related field preferred)

Certification such as TESOL
Strong command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency)

Teaching experience (preferred but not always required)
