Overview
The Marketing Claims Analyst is a key role within the Order to Cash organization, responsible for managing the end-to-end reimbursement process for marketing and pricing program incentives supporting the North America Channel Organization.
This position operates across Order to Cash, Finance, Channel Operations/Sales, and Marketing. The role combines high-volume transactional execution with data and process issue triage, complex problem resolution, vendor oversight, and financial controls, supporting approximately $130M in annual incentive payments subject to internal and external audit requirements.
This role serves as a control point and subject matter expert for incentive management processes, system enhancements, and system or process rollouts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and downstream impact.
This is a high-autonomy role requiring strong judgment and operational discipline, balancing daily execution with participation in system and process improvements in a dynamic environment where priorities and processes continuously evolve to meet business needs, including collaboration with global vendors and stakeholders across multiple time zones and the ability to clearly communicate outcomes and rationale to internal and external partners.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Claims Processing & Financial Control- Execute end-to-end processing of marketing claims, chargebacks, and pricing reimbursements with accuracy, timeliness, and audit compliance
- Manage high-volume transactional workload while resolving exceptions and complex issues requiring analysis
- Support month-end Accounts Receivable and Cash sub-ledger close activities, including reconciliation of claims, chargebacks, deductions, and accruals
- Create and distribute month-end finance reports supporting claims, deductions, accruals, and close activities
- Monitor and report on claim activity, resolution status, and accrual support
- Lead triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of data, timing, and process discrepancies across integrated systems
- Act as SME for incentive, SPIFF, rebate, and claims processes impacting Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Receivable, including Salesforce and related data feeds and integrations
- Document system behaviors, process impacts, and resolution outcomes to ensure audit readiness and operational continuity
- Provide oversight of third-party vendors responsible for incentive calculations, ensuring accuracy, performance, and compliance with system and contractual requirements
- Partner with Channel Operations/Sales, Marketing, Finance, vendors, and customers to ensure alignment and resolution of issues across global stakeholders and time zones
- Serve as escalation point for complex cross-functional issues requiring analysis and coordination
- Exercise independent judgment, including appropriately challenging stakeholders when required
- Serve as representative for incentive processes and system triage
- Support system enhancements, process improvements, and transformation initiatives as a functional partner
- Participate in system design discussions, project forums, and implementation activities
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies
- Support internal and external audit requests and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in chargebacks, pricing, contracts, or finance operations
- Strong Order to Cash and cross-functional process knowledge
- Experience supporting Accounts Receivable and Cash sub-ledger close processes
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and CRM platforms including Salesforce
- Experience resolving data, system, and process issues in complex, evolving environments
- Experience providing oversight of third-party vendors in finance or incentive calculation environments
- Strong understanding of audit and internal control frameworks
- Ability to work independently while maintaining leadership alignment
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financially material processes
