INTERNAL MEDICINE DOCTOR – JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
The Internal Medicine Doctor provides comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical consultations and physical examinations for adult patients
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results
- Prescribe medications and appropriate treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinical standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case discussions
- Support clinic programs and patient care services
- And any duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
- Valid PRC license and updated PTR
- Board Certificate (Residency Trained in Internal Medicine)
- Certification in ACLS and BLS (current and valid)
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine preferred
- Experience in clinic or hospital setting preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
