Engineering Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead our engineering team in handling maintenance, utilities, and technical operations. This role calls for a licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with solid expertise in facilities or plant operations.The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with hands-on technical knowledge, ensuring optimal performance of both people and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day engineering activities, including maintenance and utilities support
- Organize, assign, and track work schedules and tasks for technicians and staff
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained for peak performance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production and operational needs
- Enforce compliance with safety guidelines, regulations, and engineering best practices
- Prepare updates on equipment condition, project milestones, and team output
- Propose and carry out process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Guide, coach, and develop team members to strengthen technical capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Licensed engineer (RME/REE or PME/PEE preferred)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or senior engineering role
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance procedures, utilities management, and safety standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and planning abilities
- Skilled in technical reporting, documentation, and problem-solving
