Demand and Inventory Planner

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the planner is instrumental in driving supply planning and demand accuracy for assigned brands.

• Generate short- and medium-term forecasts at SKU level using sales trends, promotions, seasonality, and market intelligence.
• Consolidate inputs from Sales, Marketing, Trade, and historical data to create a collaborative demand plan.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust projections based on actual sales performance and commercial changes.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels by planning replenishment across distribution centers, retailers, and DTC platforms.
• Monitor aging stocks, expiries, safety stocks, and lead times to minimize out-of-stocks and overstock risks.
• Recommend stock reallocation, markdown, or pull-out strategies for slow-moving or near-expiry items.

• Convert approved demand plans into actionable supply plans by coordinating with the Supply Chain Manager and distributor.
• Support the preparation of purchase orders and monitor shipment ETAs and inbound schedules.
• Track lead times from global principals to ensure timely and complete arrivals.

• Coordinate with Sales and E-commerce teams to align supply against promotion calendars and retail demand.
• Adjust forecasts based on channel-specific sell-through, product velocities, and customer-specific data.

• Develop and maintain dashboards on inventory health, stock days, forecast accuracy, and SKU performance.
• Analyze stock gaps, consumption trends, and support management with supply risk alerts and insights.

• Contribute to process improvements across demand planning, replenishment, and system usage.
• Recommend system enhancements, templates, or automation to improve planning efficiency.
