The Accounting Clerk supports the Finance and HR teams by ensuring accurate payroll processing, timely payment of obligations, and compliance with BIR and government reporting requirements. The role works closely with the Accounting Officer to maintain organized, reliable financial records and smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assist with payroll, including salaries, overtime, deductions, government contributions, and final pay.
  • Process and monitor accounts payable, prepare check vouchers with complete supporting documents, and track due dates for vendor payments.
  • Assist in the preparation, filing, and documentation of BIR returns and schedules (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, employee certificates) and maintain proper tax records.
  • Support bank reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of audit schedules.
  • Coordinate with HR/Admin and other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate, compliant financial information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business course.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or government compliance with exposure to BIR filings and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG).
  • Mandatory experience in BIR filing and government compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and organization; able to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
