Job Summary:
The Category Merchandising Manager will be responsible for driving the end-to-end merchandising strategy for the assigned department/category. This role demands not only strong analytical and commercial acumen but also proven leadership in guiding teams, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and aligning merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.The role is critical in shaping the product vision, ensuring profitability, and sustaining the brand’s competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead merchandise planning, selection, and buying in line with business goals and customer needs.
- Use data, market trends, and consumer insights to forecast demand and identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize sales and inventory plans across store formats and locations.
- Negotiate with suppliers, securing the best terms and developing innovative product offerings.
- Present category strategies and performance updates to senior leadership, with actionable recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years in merchandising or product management (fashion/retail preferred).
- Strong proficiency in merchandising software, tools, and Excel.
- In-depth understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
