Senior Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily accounting operations for U.S.-based clients, including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
2. Lead month-end and year-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
3. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
4. Prepare and support U.S. sales tax filings, payroll compliance, and workers' compensation reporting.
5. Collaborate with clients regarding tax deductions, credits, grants, and financial requirements.
6. Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service in a U.S. business environment.
7. Review journal entries, accruals, workpapers, and accounting checklists for accuracy and completeness.
8. Mentor and supervise staff accountants and accounting technicians, providing guidance and training.
9. Utilize U.S. accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, and similar platforms.
10. Identify process improvements and opportunities to expand accounting and advisory services for clients.

• Minimum 5-7 years of US accounting experience required for this Senior Accountant position.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Philippines CPA certification specifically required for this position.
• Intermediate reporting proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero are required for daily accounting operations.
