Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pricing & Account Management Manager to lead pricing strategy, account management, and partner coordination within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The role is responsible for developing competitive pricing models, strengthening client and global partner relationships, and ensuring profitability while maintaining operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
This position works closely with Sales, Operations, and Global Partners to support business growth, improve service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Revenue Management- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies for freight and logistics services.
- Conduct cost analysis for transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and related services.
- Ensure pricing aligns with business goals, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Benchmark pricing against competitors to maintain market competitiveness.
- Lead the Internal Account Management team and monitor department performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, global partners, and agents.
- Develop account plans, monitor growth opportunities, and improve customer experience.
- Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure competitive agreements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to develop customer-specific pricing solutions.
- Ensure pricing strategies align with operational capabilities and logistics requirements.
- Streamline account management processes to improve efficiency and reduce customer concerns.
- Conduct coaching, mentoring, and training for team members.
- Track account metrics and prepare performance reports with actionable insights.
- Identify operational risks and recommend solutions or process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- A Master's degree or Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of:
- International Trade & Customs Clearance
- Incoterms & Logistics Documentation
- Transportation Modes (Air, Ocean, Truck, Rail)
- Vendor & Account Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
