About the role
NIU PROFESSIONALS INC. (Sister Company of Primus@Knowledge Specialists, Inc.) is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Makati City Metro Manila. As a full-time Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.
What you'll be doing- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of accounting records, including invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct data entry and assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Liaise with clients and vendors to resolve any accounting-related queries or discrepancies
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures
- A minimum of 6mos.-1 year of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, ideally in a small practice or within the Accounting industry
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
- A keen interest in continuous learning and a willingness to adapt to changes in accounting practices and regulations
