Job Summary
The Finance Director is responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective budgeting, and provides strategic insights to support business growth and decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and implement overall financial strategy aligned with business objectives
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to optimize financial performance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Lead and manage accounting, treasury, and finance teams
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management
- Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Implement and strengthen internal controls and financial policies
- Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support business expansion, investments, and cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial and operational goals
- Present financial performance and reports to executive leadership
- And any duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- CPA is highly preferred
- Proven experience in senior finance leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel
