About the role
Anvic Construction Philippines Incorporated is seeking an experienced Office/Cost Engineer to join our team in Buting Pasig City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our construction projects.As an Office/Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project costs and providing valuable insights to our leadership team.
What you'll be doing- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Analyze cost data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategies to optimize project budgets
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure effective cost control measures
- Prepare and review contract documents, change orders, and other financial documentation
- Monitor project cash flow, generate financial reports, and provide regular updates to management
- Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and proposals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-effective construction methods and processes
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 6 months or 1-2 years of experience as an Office/Cost Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, cost control, and project management principles
- Proficient in using cost estimation software, spreadsheets, and project management tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, standards, and best practices
