Summary:

We are seeking an Operations Head (Solar/PV and Renewable Energy), a PRC-licensed Electrical Engineer with strong leadership experience in solar energy projects, electrical works, and plant operations. The role is responsible for overseeing project execution, operational performance, maintenance, team efficiency, and cost management, ensuring that all solar facilities and projects are delivered and operated efficiently, safely, and in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and direction for solar project execution, plant operations, maintenance activities, and team efficiency across all sites.
• Prepare, draft, and submit accurate and timely operational reports, including project updates, progress monitoring, and performance assessments.
• Manage field installers and operations teams, ensuring a disciplined, efficient, and safety-compliant working environment aligned with company standards.
• Oversee end-to-end project implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and in compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage daily operations including work planning, manpower deployment, contractor coordination, and task prioritization.
• Act as the technical authority for solar and electrical systems, ensuring sound engineering judgment in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor operational performance of solar facilities, including energy output, system efficiency, equipment reliability, and downtime, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare and manage operations budgets, cost projections, and financial analysis, ensuring effective cost control and resource optimization.
• Conduct cost-benefit and feasibility studies for operational improvements, system upgrades, and new projects.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
• Lead and supervise engineering and operations teams, ensuring accountability, performance discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with management, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of projects and operational support.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Electrical Engineer is a must, with 7–10 years of relevant experience in solar energy, electrical projects, or power plant operations
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and plant operations
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in business writing, reporting, and executive-level presentations
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills
• Proactive, results-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
• Strong understanding of business operations and project cost management
• Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and contractors within strict timelines.
