Job Responsibilities

As the Head of Department, you will serve as the Financial Controller and Lead Analyst, ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. Your duties include:

• Department Leadership: Act as the Head of Department, overseeing all accounting and finance functions, ensuring team alignment with company goals.
• Financial Control & Analysis: Perform deep-dive data gathering, metrics, and analytics to provide actionable insights for management.
• Operational Excellence: Drive process improvement and maintain strict Quality Control and Assurance within financial workflows.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure total Audit Readiness at all times. Lead the documentation and preparation for Actuarial, Accrual, Fiscal Year-end, and BIR Compliance/Audits.
• Reporting: Primarily responsible for documenting and preparing comprehensive reports for the Finance Department’s assessment and regulatory submissions.
• Operational Oversight: Execute Wages and Headcount Control and manage financial tracking for all Company Upcoming and Ongoing Projects.
• Regulatory Standards: Ensure all processes are sound and strictly adhere to legal, fiscal, and regulatory standards.
• Core Accounting: Oversee Profit & Loss, Inventory Management, and the accuracy of all financial statements.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a significant advantage for this Managerial role.
• Experience: At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Cost Accounting (Wholesale/Machinery), BIR rules and regulations, and International Accounting Standards.
• Analytics: Proven expertise in Data Analytics, Financial Modeling, and utilizing metrics to drive business decisions.
• Software: Mastery of Excel and professional accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Setup: Must be willing to work Onsite in Makati City. Preference is given to residents of Makati or nearby areas.
• Attributes: High level of integrity, strong leadership presence, and meticulous attention to detail.
