Network Security Engineer (L2)

NTT DATA is looking for a Network Security Engineer (L2) to join our growing Managed Services team. In this role, you'll work with industry-leading security technologies, support global clients, and play a critical role in ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted IT operations.

What You'll Do

As a Network Security Engineer, you will:

• Monitor and manage client security and network environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security and network incidents within agreed service levels.
• Serve as a key technical point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support.
• Perform firewall administration, security maintenance, patching, and configuration changes.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements, automation opportunities, and preventive measures.
• Escalate critical incidents when necessary and drive them through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation, update knowledge articles, and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

✅ 2–5 years of experience in Network Security, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Support

✅ Hands-on experience supporting:

• Firewalls and Network Security Solutions
• Cloud Security Platforms
• SASE Technologies
• Enterprise Network Infrastructure

✅ Familiarity with technologies such as:

• Check Point NGFW
• Check Point CloudGuard
• Check Point Harmony
• Switches, Routers, and IP Routing

✅ Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and customer-facing skills

✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24x7 managed services environment

Preferred Certifications

Any of the following certifications will be highly regarded:

• Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
• Check Point Certified Expert (CCSE)
• Check Point Certified VSX Specialist
• Check Point Certified Maestro Expert
• Check Point Certified Cloud Specialist (CCCS)

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Equivalent industry experience will also be considered
