ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (PLANT ACCOUNTING)

JOB SUMMARY:

• Oversee the processing of plant-related vendor invoices, purchase orders, warehouse receiving reports, and customer billing invoices.
• Generate, review, and distribute accurate billing invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with sales department on any billing discrepancies on rates, terms, arrangements, and short payments or customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures to mitigate financial risks.
• Provide guidance and support to other departments by assisting with escalated issues and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.

• Ensure the accurate recording of raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods
• Conduct regular reconciliations of inventory sub-ledgers against the general ledger to identify and explain discrepancies.
• Monitor property, plant and equipment, tracking depreciation schedules and asset disposals.

• Prepare documentation and acts as the primary liaison for internal & external audits
• Ensure all facility operations adhere to relevant government, tax, and industry reporting standards.

Main Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology,
• Management Accounting, or any related field.
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of accounting experience.
• Keen attention to detail, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive
• information.
• Willing to be assigned in Bangkal, Lapu-Lapu City.
