TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (CEBU)

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware, software and networks.
• Installing and configuring computer systems, operating systems and applications.
• Maintaining computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Providing assistance to users, answering questions, and guiding them through troubleshooting steps.
• Keeping detailed records of issues, solutions and user interactions.
• Providing technical support remotely through phone, email or remote desktop access.
• Identifying and resolving technical problems effectively.
• Providing support for computer networks, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Testing the compatibility of new software with existing hardware and Software.
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base of technical solutions.
• Other related task assigned by the management

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree Computer Science/ Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a Technical support Engineer or similar role
• Knowledgeable in network security practices and anti- virus programs
• Experience with specific operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Experience with specific software applications (Office suite, Adobe creative suite)
• Experience with network technologies (WIFI, Ethernet, VPN)
• Experience with security software and hardware (Firewalls, Antivirus)
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
• Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Goal-oriented and proactive; dependable and trustworthy
