About the role
Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder, Electrician, MST, AC Tech to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our diverse range of technical services.In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding operations, electrical installations and repairs, mechanical systems troubleshooting, and air conditioning maintenance across various client projects and internal operations. This position is integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of our service delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key responsibilities- Perform welding operations including MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various materials and thicknesses to industry standards
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components in commercial and industrial settings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment malfunctions
- Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections on air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Repair and maintain HVAC/AC units ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs as required
- Proven experience as a Welder with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding techniques
- Licensed or certified Electrician with valid qualifications in electrical installation and repair
- Technical competency in mechanical systems troubleshooting and maintenance
- Certified AC Technician or equivalent experience in HVAC/air conditioning systems maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different client sites
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where applicable
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
- Certification in First Aid and CPR would be advantageous
- Experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred
