Project Assistant
Job Summary:
The Project Assistant is responsible for providing technical and administrative assistance to the Project Consultants under ADB-funded project titled: TA-10009 REG: Accelerating Climate Resilience in Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment - 4 Climate Resilient Agriculture.
Terms of Reference:
- Collect relevant secondary information from various sources.
- Prepare billing for submission to the lead agency
- Organize and provide support during meetings and consultations, including preparing discussion materials.
- Assist in the preparation of the necessary reports;
- Perform other duties as needed for the successful completion of the project and its implementing unit.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in data encoding, management, and analysis, including experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata) or other relevant tools.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
- Knowledge of financial management, including preparation of financial claims and compliance with funder guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in budget monitoring, and disbursement documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Minimum qualifications:
Educational background:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Social Science, or other related fields.
Work experience:
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in implementing research projects, preferably in agriculture, rural development, or related sectors.
Proven experience in data gathering.
Prior involvement in government or donor-funded development projects is an advantage.
