Job Description

Assists in daily operations on the farm. Includes, checking of flocks, collecting eggs, feeding, and collection.

Qualifications

Basic Knowledge on flocks feeding and care
Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures flocks have access to food and water.
Identifies sick or injured flocks thru walking the houses
Ensures biosecurity standards are being followed in entering and exiting the houses
Assists with egg collection, washing, sorting, and putting in the cartons
Ensures temperature of the houses are in comfort of the flocks.
Maintains the houses by watering or heating system as needed, and lighting meets the flocks’ requirements
Maintains high standards of animal welfare.
Assists in the collection of customers AR
Supports Layer Farm Supervisor in marketing new and old customers and other marketing related activities
Performs tasks that may be assigned to him from time to time
