About the role
Join the dynamic team at Select Goods' as a full-time Electrician based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems across our retail operations, ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities.
What you'll be doing- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control panels
- Troubleshoot and quickly resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions to our operations
- Install new electrical equipment and infrastructure as required to support the growth of our business
- Ensure all electrical work is completed in compliance with relevant safety standards and building codes
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical work performed and prepare reports for management
- Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities teams to coordinate projects and share expertise
- Formal qualification as an Electrician, such as a Technical Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician, preferably within a retail or commercial environment
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, motors, and control panels
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve electrical issues
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Commitment to safety and a track record of working in compliance with relevant regulations
- Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and provide clear updates
