Billings and Claims Analyst

Overall Objectives:

The Billing and Claims Analyst is responsible for the accurate processing, validation, and settlement of vendor billings, claims, rebates, and chargebacks. The role ensures proper recording of vendor-related costs, timely claim recovery, and strong controls over vendor financial transactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and validate vendor billings, debit notes, rebates, and claims
• Review supporting documents to ensure accuracy and policy compliance
• Record vendor billings and claims in the ERP system
• Reconcile vendor billing and claims accounts to sub-ledgers and GL
• Track and monitor outstanding vendor claims and recoveries
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Vendors on billing issues
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices and claims
• Support month-end close, accruals, and provisions related to vendor claims
• Maintain schedules for invoices processed and unprocessed, claims aging and recovery status
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Support process improvements to improve accuracy and turnaround time

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

• 2–4 years’ experience in vendor accounting, AP, or claims processing
• Strong reconciliation and documentation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• ERP and Excel proficiency required
• Experience dealing with vendors and cross-functional teams preferred
