Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a robust supplier management system. Conduct regular audits of vendor reliability, ethical standards, and pricing competitiveness to ensure a resilient and transparent supply base.
- Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and long-term contracts to ensure price stability for both technical equipment and high-volume consumables. Protect the organization from market volatility through strategic sourcing and favorable credit terms.
- Optimize the Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) process by implementing digital inventory tracking and automated approval workflows. Focus on eliminating waste, reducing lead times, and optimizing organizational cash flow.
- Partner with Department Heads to source sustainable, premium-grade materials that align with the organization’s brand identity and environmental commitments. Ensure that technical specifications for specialized equipment are met without compromising on cost or delivery timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain operations. At least 5 years in a management role, directly handling departmental budgets and high-value capital acquisitions.
- Expert proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and digital procurement platforms.
- Advanced tactics in contract negotiation, vendor arbitration, and value-engineering.
- Deep understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and local supply chain logistics for specialized goods.
- Exceptional attention to detail in contract review, auditing purchase orders, and reconciling invoices with inventory logs to ensure financial transparency.
- Ability to interpret market trends and data-driven reports to make informed "make vs. buy" decisions.
