As an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist you are responsible for managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, fostering a positive workplace environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and complaints through fair investigations and clear communication
  • Provide expert guidance to managers and staff on workplace issues, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices
  • Support the creation, review, and communication of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and facilitate administrative hearings, exit interviews, and clearance processes
  • Collaborate with legal and HR leadership to mitigate risk and ensure equitable treatment
  • Manage sensitive and confidential employee data with the utmost discretion
  • Prepare and issue HR documentation (e.g., NTEs, notices of decision, reports)
  • Track and report on employee relations metrics such as disciplinary actions and attrition

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in employee relations or HR.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, mediation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
