Math Tutor (Virtual)

Teaching Sessions: 1-2 hours, at least twice a week (must also be flexible with time, especially if there are upcoming exams)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions via digital platforms.
• Assess student learning needs and develop customized lesson plans to address academic gaps.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and school examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to the student and parents.
• Utilize digital whiteboards to enhance the virtual learning experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching Experience: A minimum of 1+ years of formal teaching or professional tutoring experience in a classroom or structured academic setting.
• Virtual Tutoring Experience: Proven track record of delivering instruction through virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
• Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain abstract concepts clearly.
• Technical Proficiency: Reliable high-speed internet connection and proficiency in managing virtual sessions and screen-sharing tools.

Documentation Requirements:

• Professional References: Candidates must provide at least 2 professional references
• who can attest to their teaching efficacy.
