Business Systems Analyst (Automation & Process Improvement)

The candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve sales operations and business processes. The role manages low-code platforms, system architecture, ticketing systems, and workflow automation while collaborating with stakeholders to identify process improvements.
It also ensures system reliability, governance, and documentation, leveraging basic programming and database skills to enhance platform capabilities and support future scalability.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain workflow automation using Google AppSheet, Smartsheet, and related low-code platforms.
- Develop and enhance solutions using basic JavaScript, Python, SQL, APIs, and automation tools.
- Manage system architecture, code repositories, governance, and ensure high system availability (SLA).
- Conduct process discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
- Build and manage a centralized Sales Concerns & Insights Ticketing System.
- Optimize existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve business processes.
- Document workflows, technical architecture, and system logic for knowledge transfer and future development.
- Manage software licenses, user access, databases, and operational data securely.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Industrial Engineering, or a related analytical/business course.
- 3–5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Operations Automation, Business Technology Management, or similar roles.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing advanced low-code/no-code solutions, with expert-level proficiency in Google AppSheet and Smartsheet.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, and SQL for application customization and automation.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, schema optimization, and data management.
- Experience with API integrations and automation tools such as Make or Zapier.
- Experience building or supporting ticketing systems, operational dashboards, or SLA-driven platforms.
- Proficient in process mapping tools such as Miro, Lucidchart, or Microsoft Visio.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining system governance and operational excellence.
