HR MANAGER (BEAUTY AND WELLNESS)

JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Manager directs all facets of human resource management, organizational development, and talent strategy tailored to our beauty and wellness portfolio. This role oversees the entire employee life-cycle—including strategic talent acquisition for corporate and front-line staff, on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, workforce scheduling, payroll administration, and labor compliance.

Serving as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the HR Manager aligns people operations with brand values to cultivate a high-performance, hospitality-driven culture and maintain an equitable, legally compliant work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a strictly related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with a documented track record in an HR Manager role, preferably within the beauty, wellness, luxury retail, or hospitality industries.
  • Mastery of statutory labor laws, employment standards, workplace health/safety protocols, and retail-specific compliance.
  • Proven ability to coach, train, and develop cross-functional, high-performing corporate and front-line teams.
  • Advanced organizational, time-management, workforce planning, and analytical decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills suited for boardroom discussions and brand representation.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Talent Acquisitions Integration: Lead full-cycle recruitment strategies and on-boarding programs tailored to attract top-tier creative, corporate, and specialized beauty/wellness talent.
  • Workforce Compliance: Author, implement, and audit internal HR policies that meet strict retail, service-industry, and corporate regulatory standards.
  • Employee Relations Culture: Serve as the primary mediator for complex workplace issues, optimizing employee engagement and fostering a wellness-centered corporate culture.
  • Performance Architecture: Establish robust performance appraisal systems, tracking retention and service metrics that promote accountability and professional development.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee timely payroll delivery, commission structures, benefits optimization, and brand-specific rewards programs.
  • Labor Law Mastery: Monitor updates from governing labor bodies regarding service, retail, and corporate workers to eliminate legal risk and manage organizational liability.
  • Data Systems Management: Securely maintain employee records, employment contracts, licensing certifications, and digital HRIS databases.
  • Operational Scheduling: Optimize company-wide attendance tracking, shift scheduling, and labor utilization across corporate offices and retail/spa locations.
