ASSISTANT QA/QC MANAGER
About the role
Grandspan Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Assistant QA/QC Manager to join our growing team in Binangonan Rizal. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the company.
What you'll be doing- Assisting the QA/QC Manager in developing, implementing and maintaining quality control systems and procedures
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identifying and addressing quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and reporting findings to the management team
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related problems
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of quality control activities
- Providing training and guidance to site personnel on quality control best practices
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in quality assurance and control
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the construction industry
- A minimum of 5-7 years of QA/QC management experience with successful leadership track record
- Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Experience in supporting and managing QA/QC staff of 6-10 team members
- Certification or training in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred
- Exposure to Structural Steel projects
