Research and Development Specialist - Food

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify new food trends, consumer preferences, and potential areas for product development
• Design and test new food products, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine prototypes, refine formulations, and optimize production processes
• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to gather feedback and insights to inform product improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest food technology, regulations, and industry best practices
• Document and present research findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders
• Provide technical expertise and support to the production team to ensure consistent quality and safety

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in research and development in the food industry
• Proficient in using food testing equipment and conducting laboratory analyses
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance best practices
