Finance Supervisor

Job Description

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and effective management of company financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting and finance operations
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes (VAT, EWT, FWT, Income Tax, etc.)
• Handle BIR compliance, tax audits, and government reportorial requirements
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies
• Supervise and guide finance/accounting staff
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• CPA license is an advantage but not required

Experience:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in finance/accounting
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong background in Philippine taxation and BIR compliance

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledgeable in financial reporting and tax regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel
• Leadership and team management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
