TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing B2B customers within the construction, abrasives, and/or industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers through account mapping and strategic account development.
- Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to introduce and promote MSI’s product portfolio.
- Submit timely weekly and biweekly sales reports to supervisors and principals.
- Achieve assigned annual sales targets and proactively manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Handle customer accounts with minimal supervision and a high level of discipline.
- Develop and implement strategies to influence purchasing decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare sales forecasts and projections for both new and existing accounts; submit monthly reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders within agreed lead times.
- Continuously seek opportunities to cross-sell and upsell other MSI product lines.
- Initiate and manage new projects and accounts from prospecting through to closing and after-sales support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of technical sales experience, preferably within construction, abrasives, or industrial products.
- Strong technical understanding of tools, materials, or equipment used in the construction and industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with products such as grinding wheels, cutting tools, industrial adhesives, coatings, or construction equipment.
