Corporate Communications and Events Assistant

The Corporate Communication and Events Assistant will assist in the implementation of marketing and events initiatives of the department as well as support the department in media and public relations activities.

• Assist in writing newsworthy articles and disseminates press releases to various media for increased Company’s brand recall.
• Assists in preparing press materials and press packs for various Company sponsored/organized activities and events.
• Collaborates with Corp. Comm. Officer to monitor relevant articles and releases from newspapers and other print mediums according to 1. Company-driven/ 2. Competitors/ 3. Industry/ 4. Suppliers/ Tenants.
• Supports the promotional activities initiated by the Corporate Communications Department as and when necessary.

• Regularly maintain and update the booking calendar of the company’s various Event Halls.
• Facilitates Events Hall Rental Inquiries and assists in Booking Confirmation
• Works closely with the concerned branch’s admin assistants for logistical requirements of booked or confirmed events
• Works closely with the accounting department to timely issue statements of account.

• Assist in company-initiated events and company-sponsored activities within and outside CW Home Depot.
• Assist in coordinating with event suppliers and ensure that all event checklists are complete and executed properly.
• Assist in post-event activities and evaluation.

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to go on fieldwork assignments and event activities
• Willing to work in extended hours, if necessary
