Business Intelligence Analyst II

Duties & Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Independently analyze large datasets to extract business insights.
• Create and maintain complex reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs.
• Provide regular, actionable reports to stakeholders.

Business Intelligence Tools:

• Proficiently use BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to develop user-friendly dashboards.
• Recommend tools and strategies for continuous improvement.

Data Modeling and Forecasting:

• Develop and maintain advanced data models for forecasting and planning.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Stay up to date and apply best practices in data modeling and ETL processing to ensure efficient use of available resources.

Data Quality and Integrity:

• Take responsibility for data accuracy and integrity through the implementation of validation processes.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to address and resolve data quality issues.
• Gain familiarity with existing projects and framework and contribute to ongoing portfolio maintenance.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Respond to complex data-related inquiries from various departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and Excel.
• Familiarity with database design, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
