About the Role
We are seeking a fully experienced Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join our growing Manila team.
This role is currently Work from Home, with attendance at the Makati CBD office required on an ad-hoc basis for administration or coordination.
You will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in electrical building services design and be confident working on multiple projects while coordinating closely with UK-based teams.
Project Sectors
You will work on a diverse range of projects, including:
- Commercial developments
- Residential projects
- Data Centres
- Education facilities
- Hotel and hospitality developments
- Electrical building services design including:
o Lighting and emergency lighting
o Power and LV distribution
o Fire alarm systems
o Earthing and containment- Production of electrical calculations and schedules
- Design delivery from Stage 3 to Stage 5 (Construction)
- Quality review of electrical design outputs • Support BIM coordination and QA of Revit MEP and CAD drawings
- Liaise effectively with UK-based engineers and project teams
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
- Experience working to UK Building Regulations, BS 7671, and CIBSE guidance
- Responsible for planning and coordinating engineering project work and design activities to ensure that project goals/objectives are accomplished within agreed deadlines
- Strong technical and coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Trimble/Amtech/Hevacomp electrical calculation software
- AutoCAD/Revit LT
- DIALux/ Relux lighting design software
- MS Office applications word, excel etc.
- Work on UK and international projects while based in the Philippines
