Accounting Supervisor

1. With at least 5 years of related work experience
2. With experience in the manufacturing industry (under PEZA is an advantage.)
3. General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
4. Technical understanding; knowledgeable in SAP system is an advantage
5. Analytical thinkers, excellent leadership & communication skills
6. Honest, results-driven, detail-oriented and highly organized
7. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Job Description:

1. Prepares manual journal entries with proper supporting documents
2. Checks posted AP journal entries in the general ledger book of accounts. Reviews subsidiary ledger balances and requires analysis.
3. Monthly financial statement closing process (accruals, prepayments, costing etc). Monitoring and updating of subsidiary ledgers & accounting schedules.
4. Generation of monthly financial and management reports (comparative financial position, profit and loss, forecast/budget vs actual results)
5. Preparation of annual external financial statements and corresponding schedules and oversee external audits (statutory external audits, internal and special audits)
6. Perform account reconciliations (per need basis)
7. In-charge in the monitoring, analysis and reporting of inventory-related transactions
8. Ensures accuracy of inventory records and provides monthly inventory reports
9. Training and mentoring staff members in the team
10. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Accounting Head
